Course Description: Sex workers face many physical and health risks due to the activity which they engage in, and public opinion can negatively contribute to their well-being. The researchers examined attitudes towards transactional sex in Denmark, where prostitution is legal. The researchers identified an attitudinal research gap with transactional sex in a gender equality country. The participants completed the Danish Values Survey, which indicated fifty-four percent of the respondents had a negative attitude regarding transactional sex. Women and general attitudes towards sexual behaviors are the most significant prediction of acceptability of transactional sex. The study's benefits empower skilled professionals working with policymakers and community members to address sex-related issues.
