Course Description: This course offers an up-to-date and comprehensive guide to HIV and AIDS - how HIV is transmitted, biopsychosocial implications, and counseling guidelines.

- Identify legal and ethical issues regarding HIV patients.

This course meets the continuing education requirement for the 7 hour HIV & Aids course that must be completed by California Marriage and Family Therapists, Social Workers, and Clinical Counselors (new requirement for Counselors) for the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
Course materials can be downloaded or read online. To receive a certificate of completion, you must complete a multiple-choice post-test with a score of 75% or better and complete a course evaluation.
