Course Description: This course provides an overview of the pros and cons of using the Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) model in agencies and how to overcome obstacles in its implementation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Recite the order of TF-CBT stages
  2. Demonstrate knowledge of when TF-CBT is an appropriate or inappropriate treatment option
  3. List potential barriers novice therapists may experience when using TF-CBT
  4. Demonstrate knowledge of how to be a culturally competent TF-CBT service provider

Course Format:

Course materials can be downloaded or read online. To receive a certificate of completion, you must complete a multiple-choice post-test with a score of 75% or better and complete a course evaluation.
