Welcome New York Candidates

New York has one of the largest communities of mental and behavioral health professionals in the nation. While each professional practice is different, there are some similarities when it comes to obtaining your licensure. The governing body for all licensures is the New York State Education Department’s Office of Professionals (NYSED OP). All licensures have education and experience requirements that must be completed before a professional may sit for their licensure exam. This includes the completion of a department-approved course in the identification and reporting of child abuse.
