Led by a nationally-known expert in Psychopharmacology and a CSPP core faculty member the Psychopharmacology Survey is a comprehensive 2 unit graduate level academic course, delivered in a self-paced online format.

It is designed to help psychologists, family therapists, clinical social workers, substance abuse counselors and other mental health professionals develop a working knowledge of pharmacological agents and drug treatment strategies.

It features trained facilitators and fellow mental health professionals, who will greet and orient you both at the beginning of the course and any time you need them until completion.

John Preston
PsyD, board certified neuropsychologist, ABPP in counseling psychology, author of over 20 books on psychopharmacology, psychological assessment, neurobiology, and psychotherapy.

This course meets the pre-licensure requirements of CA SB 788 (the LPCC licensure bill), is APA-accredited, and meets the psychopharmacology requirement for clinical licensure in many states. 

Since this course is from Alliant University, all coursework will be completed on Alliant's course website. You will receive certificate of completion directly from Alliant. This course is not approved for APA, NBCC or ASWB-ACE credit through AATBS.

Course Format:

Once both the mid-term and the final are passed at 80% or better you will be provided with a transcript noting Credit/NoCredit.
