AATBS is a Board Approved Provider of Continuing Education

AATBS is an approved provider of continuing education for many organizations including the APA, ASWB, NBCC, Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy and Mental Health Counseling as well as the Florida Board of Psychology and many additional boards.

AATBS #1085, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. AATBS maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 06/19/2021 – 06/19/2024. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits.

AATBS is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. AATBS maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

AATBS has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 5750. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. AATBS is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.

Grievance Procedure

Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences is fully committed to conducting all activities in strict conformance with the American Psychological Association's Ethical Principles of Psychologists. Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences will comply with all legal and ethical responsibilities to be non-discriminatory in promotional activities, program content and in the treatment of program participants. The monitoring and assessment of compliance with these standards will be the responsibility of the Education Chair in consultation with the members of the continuing education committee, Chief Learning Officer.

While Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences goes to great lengths to assure fair treatment for all participants and attempts to anticipate problems, there will be occasional issues which come to the attention of the convention staff which require intervention and/or action on the part of the convention staff or an officer of Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences. This procedural description serves as a guideline for handling such grievances.

When a participant, either orally or in written format, files a grievance and expects action on the complaint, the following actions will be taken. If the grievance concerns Association for Advanced Training in the Behavioral Sciences CE program, in a specific regard, the CE Chair will attempt to arbitrate.
